Hello Darling My name is Dora Reisser, I guess I have always recreated myself and the world changed around me. I have worked hard, overcome many obstacles, took risks and succeeded. As a child I was a refugee from the Nazis regime. Then in my adolescence I trained in ballet at the Vienna Opera becoming their youngest solo dancer. After an unfortunate fall in my late teens my dancing career was over, so I joined the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London to study theatre. At the RADA, I had to both learn English and Shakespeare at the same time. I then worked as a leading actress on British Television, Hollywood films and the theatre, staring in The Dirty Dozen, The Avengers and Space: 1999. Once I had children I gave up my acting career to raise my wonderful family and became one of Britain's leading fashion designers. |
